Just be careful judging "Last logon time" if you are doing brick level backups or other maint that allows a service account to access the mailbox as that counts as a login.

Spam is the issue with no received and I'm going to have to factor in a few different criteria I think. Thanks again Chris. - Josh -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Scharff Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 11:31 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Listing inactive exchange 2k mailboxes Quest's MessageStats is a pretty useful tool for determining things like that as well as creating all kinds of additional shiny reports which keep ducks distracted. Sawmill[1][2] might also be capable of determining the same thing. No received is tough because I still see spam for users who haven't been here in 4 years. But a combination of last logged on time, combined with messages sent and some stateful inspection of messages received and some kind of filtering for last logon time of the associated NT user account[3] might be useful in finding what you're looking for (or not).
