So so long as the phone supports ("any version of")OMA , this will work? Or do
you need a recent phone?.
Would this require a set of instructions for each type of phone to set up .
i.e. the student would have to configure their phone to connect to the exchange
server via OMA and have an exchange account
(yah can tell I have not yet used OMA)
Would this be classified as WAP? (question, as our contract with our mobile
phone provider includes free WAP)

Outlook Mobile Access with the checkbox for enabling unsupported devices works
reasonably well for us. For the devices like Blackberry, we've also had
reasonable luck just pointing them to Outlook Web Access.
