When we saw this happening on one of our systems, we created a backup
selection list that had the drive and directories in it. Then we created the
two separate jobs (one full, one diff) and used the same selection list for
each one. Ran the Full first. Then we setup our normal rotations of
differentials during the week, and fulls on the weekends.
We have not had a problem with it since.
