Q1 What is the best way to handle this?
A1 see Q2

Q2 Should I move everything into their inbox and remove the PST file?
A2 Yes

The real question is what is the value of the information in the PSTs to the
company?

That answer will determine your actions. And your actions will be tempered
by your budget.

If you place a high value on the data stored on the C: drives then leaving
the data on a C: drive poses far greater risk than having them on a raided
server disk. The cost of working out how to back them up off the C: drives
is far greater than dragging them back into exchange.

If compliance is your game, then the use of PSTs is not a good game plan.

Subject: PST backup

I like to know what how other company handle big pst file. I have some user
that create pst file on the local c drive and now they want to backup the
pst. I was thinking of placing the pst file on the network mapped drive and
let the daily backup take care of it. Anyone out there with user that access
1GB pst over the network? How will this effect the network traffic?

Thank
Tony
