I assumed that 1-BC7CCF is the name of a public folder. Don't you have
users who can create PFs and give them names like that? and make them
invisible?
My point was not whether you'd had reports of problems with that folder in
Outlook, but what does that folder look like and behave when seen from
Outlook. If you can't see it from Outlook, how about from ESM and ADUC?
Anyway, the KB at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913126/en-us says this
about event 1173:
These events may be logged even when logging is disabled in Exchange Server
2003.
Events that reference "Error 0x6bb" can safely be ignored.

The folder referred to is "1-BC7CCF" which I assumed was a table in
priv1.edb.
I've had no reports of any problems in Outlook.

If it were me, I'd try to fix it from Outlook first. I'd log in as the
folder owner, export the contents to PST, delete the folder, and
recreate it.
You didn't mention how this folder appears from Outlook. Do you get any
problems there? from one machine, or from several? From only one user
or from any?

Exchange 2003, patched up to date.
I've had the following error:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store
Event Category: Views
Event ID: 1173
Date: 18/09/2006
Time: 09:17:27
User: N/A
Computer: ANDOVER
Description:
Error 0x6bb deleting unused restricted view from folder
1-BC7CCF on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store
(ANDOVER)". Microsoft Exchange Information Store will try to
delete the view again at the next maintenance interval.

I didn't find http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=913126
useful. This and the message I was talking about a few weeks
ago have got me wondering about doing an ISINTEG. An
exchange site forum suggested ESEUTIL /D.
Anyone got any advice? Mail seems to be working without any
issues, so my instinct is always to not bring down the store
for any reason.
Tim
