Your bed is made. As long as everything is working fine, leave it alone. If you have the time and equipment, you could bring up another Exchange server on a member server and move all the mailboxes and everything else to it and then remove Exchange from the domain controller, but you might want to keep that idea warm for when you're ready to replace it.
