We have an employee who will be on an extended absence and won't be
able to check his email. The action that is being requested is to issue
an OOO with the message to contact another individual and place the
address in the OOO message and then permanently delete the inbound
message. I can set up a rule to delete messages in OOOA but they go
into the Deleted Items folder.

Question: Is there any way to permanently delete the messages
automatically knowing that dumpster is on and they could be retrieved
within the recovery period?

Thanks for the wisdom of this group.
