Hello, colleagues,

Is there a KB article to follow or any special "gotcha's" in moving my
Exchange 2003 organization to Native Exchange 2003 mode when my Forest
is not yet in Native Windows 2003 mode?

I've already followed the KB's to remove the first and last Exchange 5.5
servers from the sites, and they're gone. I'm ready to follow KB's
272314 and 270143 about getting rid of the SRS instances and the ADC and
finally throwing the switch to go native, but I had heard that there
were special considerations and maybe special tasks to perform when your
AD Forest is not native Windows 2003.

I might add that all the DC's in the forest are Windows 2003, but we
have several Windows NT4.0 SP6a boxes that are running software that
apparently will break in a native Windows 2003 forest, so I cannot
upgrade the forest level just yet.
