We've actually had that happen with our BES server after nearly every patch. The BES server requires the BES account to have Send As permissions on every Blackberry user account, and every time you apply a Microsoft update, it seems to break that. It's a colossal pain and one of the reasons I really wish our higher-ups hadn't decided on Blackberry. Other than that, the BES seems to work pretty well, but that caused some real headaches before we realized it was going to happen every freaking time.
