I've got a guy who wants one of those PDA/Cell Phone things to connect to Exchange 2003. He went off and bought a Blackberry without taking to me about it. I'm kind of thinking that buying a Blackberry was a mistake since Exchange has built-in support for Windows Mobile devices. Any comments you have on this would be appreciated. In particular here are some questions. 1) Am I correct in assuming that a Windows Mobile device would be a better choice? 2) From what I've read, the device should be Windows Mobile 5.0 with MSFP. Is this correct or is there something newer? 3) What devices would you recommend? It needs to have both e-mail and cell phone capabilities. I'm not sure if he requires a full alphanumeric keypad but I would guess that would be nice. 4) Any particular features that should be considered? I'm running Exchange 2003 with SP2. This guy will probably be the only one doing this type of mobile access. Thanks for your help.
