Along with that, do you have an Organizational Forms library setup in
your environment? If so, and they require forms, does their server have
a replica?

Any chance they are connecting to public folder instances which live
only on your server?

Conversation: Connections to wrong Exchange server
Subject: Connections to wrong Exchange server

Hi, folks,

A client two hops (T1's) away from us is complaining that Exchange is
slow. They have a big Exchange server with 4GB memory, tons of disk
space, and only about 250 users. But, what we've been noticing is that
many of their workstations have been coming across the T1's and
connecting to our Exchange server instead of theirs, even though their
mailboxes are on their Exchange server. We are in the 10.2 subnet, while
they are in the 10.5 subnet. Here is how we found these connections,
running the command from our Exchange server at 10.2.3.10:

netstat -n | find /I "10.5"

  TCP 10.2.3.10:36553 10.5.2.33:2478 ESTABLISHED
  TCP 10.2.3.10:36553 10.5.2.34:3941 ESTABLISHED
  TCP 10.2.3.10:36553 10.5.2.60:1223 ESTABLISHED
  TCP 10.2.3.10:36553 10.5.2.62:4949 ESTABLISHED
(etc.)

Can anyone tell me why this is happening, and what I can do to fix it,
i.e., get these folks connecting to their own Exchange server in their
own subnet? Is it a server-side issue or perhaps a PC-side issue?

Thanks in advance.
