Hi, Colleagues, We have four Administrative groups, one Exchange 2003 server in each. One of these Exchange servers (let's call it pch.org) will have all its mailboxes moved this weekend to an outside hosting group. So, the first thing I have to do is get email going outside the Exchange organization for all those 175 mailboxes.
It would seem to me that I have to delete the SMTP addresses for these folks (there are three) from my default Recipient Policy, as well as delete mailboxes as they get moved. Everybody who uses that Exchange server will be told email is unavailable all weekend. But, I don't see a way to prevent somebody who is homed on one of the other 3 Exchange servers from sending email to the fourth one, and having the mail either bounce or get delivered to that person's mailbox and then get deleted. Any ideas as to how to make this go more smoothly? -- Larry Wahlers Concordia Technologies The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod MailTo:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Business Phone: (314) 996-1876 _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
