I or my users have never had a problem with Hotmail. I think it depends on what filtration method(s) you use. Maybe that's what you should be looking at.

I don't think an email admin has any business trying to tell other people (who aren't even his users!) what email service to use. Sounds to me like plain old anti-MS bigotry. [1]

[1] not that I haven't engaged in a bit of anti-AOL bigotry myself, but only to the extent of expressing MY reservations about AOL. ;)

It seems that no matter how I set my spam filtration, all hotmail is blocked. I certainly don't want to whitelist hotmail.com. I know of at least one other administrator who just tells his users to tell people trying to e-mail them to drop hotmail and get another e-mail account. Is that a route any others take?
