But that's only half the picture!  If you can fully restore from a BE 12 then 
you can say it is fine. Until then, one must reserve judgement.

BE11d v7170 is up to SP2 with several hotfixes.  11d is a mature product with a 
lot of the support issues having been addressed.  BE12 is still wet behind the 
ears, and in my opinion, it needs to prove it can stand up before you can say 
it runs.
