Trying to install Exchange 2007 with SP1 from MSDN into our test network on a fresh install of Windows 2008 right from the launch, after putting the prerequisite roles, features, etc. on the server, the installation fails very early. The first error message was very specific - no permissions on the c:\ExchangeInstallLogs area, which is itself strange because I'm logged in with a Schema Admin and Enterprise Admin account.
I have not yet prepared the schema, AD, and domain, but when I try, I get the same error. Now, it's just a popup that says "Exchange encountered an error." Not very helpful. Is there something about Windows 2008 that is standing in the way? With no specific error message, I'm kind of at a loss here. -- Larry Wahlers Concordia Technologies The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod MailTo:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Business Phone: (314) 996-1876 _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
