Looking for ideas here. I have a CCR two node E2k7 setup and the logs for the clustered storage group on the passive node do not truncate or get deleted. Each mailbox node only contains the mailbox role and do not have a Public Folder store. I looked into the MS suggested configuration and suggested backup schedule and I understand that the optimal way to remove the logs is by backing up the active and passive nodes. Now this goes against everything I knew about clustering. In addition one of the reasons I liked CCR was the ability to backup one system and still have redundancy.
My question; Is there a secondary configuration or way to ensure the logs get truncated?
