In other words, it the app was written for 1.1, it won't work without the
1.1 framework.
2.0 isn't going to work with it.
On the flipside, you can have multiple versions of the .net framework on

I'm trying to install Exch 07 on a laptop for lab purposes. As
recommended,
I'm trying to install the EBPA, but it keeps failing, saying that I need

first install .NET Framework 1.1
I've already got the latest .NET stuff on there: v. 2.0.xx (x64), plus
the
KB926776 hotfix, but the .NET installer refuses to deal with them and
insists on v. 1.1
My googling has found nothing on this problem, and I didn't run into this
on
a previous 07 install. So I'm thinking that it may be a unique
situation --
maybe the fact that the processor is a Sempron?
Any other ideas?
