Software written for the .NET framework is specific to that version. In other words, it the app was written for 1.1, it won't work without the 1.1 framework. 2.0 isn't going to work with it. As recommended, I'm trying to install the EBPA, but it keeps failing, saying that I need to first install .NET Framework 1.1 I've already got the latest .NET stuff on there: v. 2.0.xx (x64), plus the KB926776 hotfix, but the .NET installer refuses to deal with them and insists on v. 1.1 My googling has found nothing on this problem, and I didn't run into this on a previous 07 install. So I'm thinking that it may be a unique situation -- maybe the fact that the processor is a Sempron?
