How about using message tracking to see what messages were received by the
disabled account that is generating the OOF. This should then show you who is
forwarding/delegating to that disabled account.

Subject: Orphaned delegates

Exchange 2003SP2 running on Win2003SP2, most users are Outlook 2003. This
one's driving me nuts. Someone, somewhere, has one of the disabled-account
retirees as a delegate. Meeting requests sent to a particular distribution
list get an OOF from that retiree, even though he's not in the list of
addressees for the list. Deleting his account or his OOF is not considered
an option, so I need to figure out who has him as a delegate. I went through
all the members' Exchange General properties, looking for anyone who'd given
him Send As - no such luck. Ditto with the Mailbox Rights tab. Oh, and just
asking the users didn't work, either. ;-)

Any suggestions as to what to do next? I'm sure there's a way to do this
with adsiedit or something, but I don't know how to structure the particular
query.

Thank you,
