Is it supported/safe to increase the size of LUNs holding Exchange 2010 databases and log files while the server is running? The SAN is an EVA 4000, if it matters. My thought is to increase the size of the LUN, then expand the volume size in Windows. The OS is 2008 R2.
I can also do this after hours by shutting down the server and performing the LUN expansion while it is offline. Thanks, RS
