I'm pretty sure this is a known issue. I believe a fix is in the works. I don't 
have a schedule for you (and honestly, if I did I couldn't tell you anyway). If 
you want to attempt to get an IU, you'll need to open a call.

Exchange 2010 SP3 UR2.

Viewing a calendar in a public folder gives "A problem occurred while you were 
trying to use your mailbox": [cid:[email protected]]

It happens on every public folder calendar for every user.  Increasing 
permissions doesn't help.
