I can't tell you "it won't work" - because I don't know. I can tell you that it is an unsupported change.

We are under scrutiny by entities who want things to be as "as you found them" as possible, and I have to do what they say. (I don't find it an unreasonable request, either.) Can we change the legacyExchangeDN for JSMITH to something else, and then change the legacyExchangeDN for JSMITH2 to match what JSMITH used to be?
