Sounds like you don't have a big enough volume for the logs or you don't
flush the logs after an "online" back while having circular logging
disabled.
What are the specs of the server and the HDD configs?

Subject: Information Store Transaction logs
We are running out of space on our Exchange 5.5 SP4 server. My boss
suggested moving the transaction logs to another location that is a
mapped drive on another server in another domain. Their logic is that
we have a two way trust and exchange doesn't care where the logs are
stored. Both servers are on this side of the router. In fact the
servers are located right next to each other. My concern is what
happens when we lose that connection for one reason or another (They
decide to reboot that server for some reason, or the trust drops, etc).
Am I being overly concerned, can this possibly work?
