Check out CyberSitter, It will allow you to restrict his access based on
content(auto updates), automatically block all internet access based on
timeframe (no internet during bedtime), and of course a pswd for disabling
it for adult access. It has some cool remote reporting and access log report
emailing as well.
Not only did my 10yr old find his way to some not so great websites, but
also sneaked mom's credit card when so prompted :(
His PC is now another lab machine :)

Subject: blocking internet access (OT)
Thanks for those that read this even though its OT. It's a quickie...
I need to block access to the internet from my pc, but be able to use it
when *I* want to. ( Parent kid issue).
Zone alarm would be perfect, but if I use it to " do not allow IE to access
the internet", all that needs to be done is open ZA, and click "allow it".
If ZA could be password protected it would be perfect. Anyone have a link or
suggestion? Does Programs like Net nanny do this or just limit WHERE they
can go?
Thanks!
Ron
