I had this problem after setting some recommended security settings
in the registry.
The setting that caused the problem was: LMCompatibilityLevel in
HKLM\System\CCC\Control\LSA
I had set my DWORD to 3 on both client and server. Users were still
able to log on but would get
prompted with a password to logon when opening Outlook. Putting in
the correct password and domain didn't
work either. Setting the DWORD to 1 fixed it.

Hello!
I am facing a problem in my network. Exchange
server5.5 ( Service Pack 4)is running in my network .
When we create any new account , this account is
connect the network properly but MS outlook is not
working properly and they will ask password again and
again when i m getting or sending the mail.
I am format the client machine but this problem is
still present.Client is not facing any problem in
browsing the network.  
This is very severe in my network because this client
is very important.
