Has anyone experienced a problem with Outlook 2000 connecting to Exchange 5.5 sp4 and receiving the error 'The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook.' when composing large emails (it loses the new email). Article Q275/1/86 refers to this error but to when forwarding emails not creating them, and the check list given does not apply to the users outlook configuration.
