backup policies should be based on time for disaster recovery. If you can
backup the full IS every night, that's likely to be the best solution,
because it will only require one tape for recovery.

Subject: Recommendation
Can I have some recommendations on a tape backup procedure?
I have 125 mailboxes with 100M limits on each on a W2k with E2k.
I have plenty of space on my tapes for the IS and Mailboxes etc. I am
using Veritas Netbackup 3.4.1.
My thought was to do a full backup of the Information Store once a week
and keep a month. Then do a full backup of the IS once a month and keep
it for a year.
I was going to do a differential incremental backup on the Mailboxes
daily and do a full each month and keep it for two months.
A good document would be good too, along with some advice.
