Exchange 5.5 SP3, Outlook 2000 (w/ Office SP1) on WinNT4SP6a. Twice now, about once every 4-6 weeks - the AutoNameCheck function hangs Outlook. This only happens if it matches to more than one name, i.e. type in 'sd' which would find 'SDonaldson' and 'SDriver' in the GAL, then press Ctl-K (or leave it for AutoCheck) - get the little red clock for up to 1/2 hour (longest I've waited). Happens on all computers. Went through TechNet - and only found references to corrupt Nickname files on the local machine. If we re-boot the Exchange server - all is AOK when it comes back up. I see nothing unusual in the NT Event Logs. Anyone experienced this before? Any solutions?
