Well if you cant access it, short of hacking their systems, then that's
that.
The new users will need to find a way to get their data before you can
do anything with it. That is up to them and their IT dept. There may be
reasons why their IT department doesn't want to give them this data (the
users may not be making you aware of this). If that is the case, you
should respect that. Just as you would expect the same if the situation
were reversed.

Add the Personal Folders service to their messaging profile, drag the
Groupwise messages to it then import the PST file using Outlook.

I also posted this to Sue Mosher's Outlook list but I feel the knowledge
level, along with the tendency to mock, is higher on this list. Sorry
if you subscribe to both.
We have a couple of new users starting soon with our firm who currently
use GroupWise 5.5 at their present jobs. Their current IS dept refuses
to assist them in any way but the users do want to export their info
from GroupWise so that they can import it into Outlook once they get
here. As there is no export feature from the GroupWise client, does
anyone know a way to export it without going to the server? Thanks.
