Theory Here:
I think he could delete the offending folders IF he was running the old
Exchange client. HOWEVER as soon as he starts OL, it would recreate
them.
So unless he wants to go old school, he will be stuck with what there
is.

If he isn't satisfied with that, tell him to find a better one. Don't
let execs ever bully you. Believe it or not, they will respect that.

This is a weird question/request.  The VP of my company wants to create 
personal folders with no subfolders underneath.  By default, a Deleted
Items folder gets created under the personal folder.  He does not want
that folder there.  I explained to him that it is a folder that cannot
be deleted.  It's part of Microsoft's design for personal folders. He is
not satisfied with that answer.

There is no way to create a personal folder without that Deleted Items
folder, is there??
