I have some strange issues with a remote exchange user. He is running OL 2000 connected to the exchange server usually, but with the option of using Offline folders when he travels. The Exchange server is 5.5 SP4 on win2K server.
His problem occurs when he replies to an email....sometimes. For some people, sometimes when he replies to an email he gets the error message "network problems are preventing a connnection....". But if he copies and pastes the same information into a new email it sends through with no problem. Sometimes when he tries to sync he gets the error message below. And sometimes he gets what appears to be a good sync...but the last message he has when he opens outlook offline is from the 19th. I have also had him search for *.ost on his hard drive so he could delete it and create a new one, but the search didn't find any *.ost files though offline files are configed.
