We have tried bothe the Folder assistant, and the rules wizard, but nothing
seems to work. I was looking in an Outlook/Exchange book and it says we may
need to create an agent. Might this be the case?

Use the folder assistant under the administration tab of the properties of
the parent (RFS) public folder. These rules will work with posts. If you
create a rule that filters for example on the subject line (ie. software
problem), you can forward the post/message (intact) to the email address of
the child public folder ([EMAIL PROTECTED] or whatever it is). You can
also create a rule that deletes the post in the parent folder after the
first rule is processed.

Subject: Public Folder Help

I am creating a Trouble ticket application that when the user selects a
specific request from a dropdown box, depending on what they select I want
the form that I created to automaticaly place itself in another folder
(e.g. I have three folders, A Main: Request for Service which is where the
user enters thier problem information, and two sub folders, SSB for our
Software Support Branch, and a NOC folder for our Network operations
Center. When the user goes into the RFS folder and creates a new request,
depending on what kind of request it is, like a software problem, I want
it to forward to the SSB folder out of the RFS folder. Or if they have a
problem with their email, forward to the NOC flder.) I have trie using
the rules wizard, and am thinking that the rules might not apply to public
folders if I dont email the requests. I am using posts not emails. Is
there a way to make this possible?
