The x.400 scanner listed at mail-resources.com works basically that way as a
relay x.400 box. Do you currently have an issue with viruses passing between
the two systems which is large enough to justify the expense? Will the scan
package you use in the relay scenario described in your post be from a
different vendor than the ones you are using on Notes and Exchange
currently? If not, it seems like a waste of time.
