Now, to correct your blatant and arrogant inaccuracy. OL2k uses a dif't MAPI subsystem than E5.5 and can cause problems if it is installed directly on an E5.5 server. MS does not support this. MS does have an article to state this. OL98 has also been known to cause issues when installed on an E5.5 server. Neither of these would qualify as the "best choice" in this scenario.
