I got the impression it would only prevent new problems occuring but not fix
existing problems. This is certainly the case with calendar corruptions via
OWA.

Yep, just about anyone using the event service has applied it. No troubles,
although it didn't fix what it said it would either.

Subject: CDO/CDOHTML Hot Fix Q289606

I got a hold of Microsoft regarding the issue of our OWA servers getting the
ASP 0115 and having to restart the IIS. They recommended that I upgrade the
systems to NT 6.0 spa, install the security patches, and apply the rollup
hot fix for CDO/CDOHTML. Has anyone else applied this hot fix?
