I didn't glean this logic from either the MS KB (Q181847,Q181420,Q177153) or the FAQ at http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq_appxh.htm You wouldn't want Exchange installed on the same machine as MS Proxy Server....right? Did you mean '... Proxy client installed on Exchange Server..'? The FAQ was just focusing more on the SMTP forwarding options on the IIS running on the mydomain. machine...or that's how I read it anyway. In the FAQ, The method of Binding the Exchange Server SMTP Port (25) to the Proxy server is also explained, but in summary.
