Public Store, Not Private - our priv.edb was 1.6GB.

We have backup and have restored succesfully.  Restoration was slightly
problematic.  One Public Contacts folder recovered empty, all others in
tact.  This same folder was the cause of extensive "Exchange Requests"
whenever accessing a contact in the Pub Folder.  This performance problem
is a noted issue by MS.

Any mail created during the pffending period of 5 days was also not
recovered.  That is, mail created using addresses from that Pub Folder (or
so it seems at a glance).

Recovered public.edb remains at around 6GB even without contents of main
Contact folder.  Unsure why, perhaps a lot of empty space.

Exchange performing better than ever now.

Have not yet started exchange AV at this stage.

Thanks for feedback will advise of completed story.
