We run it on a separate server, inside the firewall. Then again, we process on the order of (let me check here - ok, there it is) as of 4pm EST, we've processes 60,000 messages today. We spike into the 300-600 messages/minute category at times.
So, we try to keep it separate. We're running it on a Solaris box, and it handles all inbound and most of the outbound mail for the company. ------------------------------------------------------ Roger D.
