Thanks Darcy! I knew I could count on one of the gurus on this list to
point me in the right direction. :0)

An educated guess here, but still just a guess -

Both IMC's need to be limited to just the appropriate sites. Reconfiguring
yours won't prevent e-mail from your site from going out through their
site's IMC.

Oh crud puppies!!!

First, let's take into account here that I'm not the one that set up this
Exchange site...I inherited it from the prior administrator. Second, let's
take into account that I just had TWO molars extracted at the dentist's and
am on more Advil than I can count. Ok...with that said, let me ask my
question.

Description: We work at a Dept of Energy (DOE) location. One of the other
contractors here was responsible for setting up the original Exchange
organization and still administers the organization. We are a completely
separate company, but we are a site within their org. Every once in awhile,
I will get an NDR back from them, stating that relaying is not allowed
through (what looks like to me) their IMS.

Question: Is this because I have the address space for our site IMS set to
"*", with the scope set to "organization" instead of "site"?

Set the address space scope to "Site" rather than "Organisation".

Hello dear Exchangers,

I'd like to ''hide'' my IMS from the other sites in my org.
How can I do it ?

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

Peter
