Great. That's what I was looking for. I'll probably go with Trend Micro or GFI Mail Essentials at the Gateway and then have Sybari on the Exchange server. Thanks.

A file-based scanner would not catch any viruses since they'd be encoded into UUENCODE or MIME. Further, it might generate false positives that would corrupt your mail. Hi, I've decided to use IIS as my smtp gateway on the DMZ. I was curious, could I use a file based virus scanner on that server? I will be using Sybari Antigen on my Exchange server, but would like to be double protected. Thoughts? Or did I not give enough info? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
