The Trend SMTP Interscan Messaging Security Suite product kicks butt for
this scenario. I am just in the final stages of evaluating it for a very
similar scenario and I am recommending it for implementation.

BTW, The only drawback is - it's inbuilt reporting is a bit lacking...
but then again - it's there for it's AV and content filtering
capabilities; not it's reporting.

Subject: Using IIS as SMTP relay, what about Gateway A/V?

Hi, I've decided to use IIS as my smtp gateway on the DMZ. I was
curious,
could I use a file based virus scanner on that server? I will be using
Sybari Antigen on my Exchange server, but would like to be double
protected.
Thoughts? Or did I not give enough info?
