Would you PLEASE quit cutting off the thread!! If you are sending from the web interface, select the "Quote message in reply" checkbox, right below the "Reply to this message" button. This will make sure that the entire thread gets added to the message you are sending!
I'm sure Hotmail and Yahoo have a similar feature.
