This is perfect, many thanks for your responses. I was trying to evaluate this is respects to the current stance from MS and what the NAS providers are stating. It so happens that it is a Netapp device that I was looking at.
I had seen the articles before but wanted to know whether this had changed, it is obvious that it has not changed. The only time it will change is if/when MS puts such a device on the HCL.
