We had just noticed this problems. I ran the /cleanfreebusy on a few of the affected people but the problem did not go away. There are no .OSTs involved. I looked in the KB without success. I have loads of users that when try to schedule them into a meeting starting May 1st they have no meetings showing up, even though there are meetings.
