The answer is, Un-install and re-install TCP/IP.
Outlook works fine now. I tell people these computers are almost human, and I am believing it more and more. One pc we had so much trouble with the user was so sarcastic, the guy that was helping me said it must be all the negativity around the computer that was causing it to fail. I go bad mouthing Dell and the last Dell I setup is hosed up in 3 days. First web folders will not work, then the display messed up. So we did a Windows 2000 repair and it fixed the following problems, but now Outlook 98 will not work. Un-installing and re-installing Outlook did not help, it will not resolve the name to the Exchange server. I did make a ERU disk and saved the registry. Any suggestions besides re-formatting?
