This is what I found in the MS IM_setup.doc:

"If the home server also performs routing functions (for example, in a small
business that has one server with Instant Messaging connectivity to the
Internet), change the default domain name to the Instant Messaging domain
name (for example, m.microsoft.com)"

If they are talking about a single server-DC on a LAN (with an IM home
server installed), where does it route to? How is it possible to "change the
default domain name," if the default domain is WWW, without breaking the
connectivity to the web site? If the "default" IM domain assigned to the
port 80, then the port of www.domain should be changed, I guess?
Thanks.
