We use BLAT to email the logs, like Tom. Since they get emailed, it doesn't matter to me that the original is buried in some account's profile path. But, I do understand the convenience of having all of your log files in a common spot.

I managed to direct smtp logs, IIS logs etc all to the same folder so I can quickly access them and thanks to Tom's answer I can now put the backup logs in the same place. It just seems that on a Server Product like Win2k Server, backup should be a system function. > -----Original Message----- > From: Coleman, Hunter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2002 12:48 PM > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: RE: ntbackup, E2K and logs > > > Why do you want to change the location of the log file? > > Hunter > > -----Original Message----- > From: Edgington, Jeffrey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2002 12:16 PM > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: RE: ntbackup, E2K and logs > > > yeah... that kinda sucks...
