Once I upgrade it, then I can can go native mode. But, I will need to replace it with newer hardware as I continue to move to E2K. Guess as long as it is the last server (ex 5.5 server) I replace - I'll not have a problem...
Anyone have any problems when they did the upgrade option for a w2k install for a system running Ex.5.5 - SP4 & NT4.0 SP5 Ron -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Mynhier [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, April 22, 2002 11:37 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Going Native for W2K Don't use a product like Upromote in a production environment. Upgrade or rebuild. -----Original Message----- From: Pennell, Ronald B. It is keeping me from going to "native" mode. Anyone ever use a product called "UPROMOTE" to un-promote a bdc to a member server? This is the 1st server in my exchange site, so I can just replace it - guess I could upgrade it to Windows 2000 with Ex.5.5. and not make it a DC... Any suggestions?
