This is a harsh crowd (and, yep, I admit to being one of 'em). How are we to know that you need a tool to help you inventory a network you just took over? All I could read in your question was an admin who didn't know what was on his boxes. Perhaps I shouldn't have assumed an existing admin, but statistically taking over a network doesn't happen very often. On this list the more helpful people will _always_ ask for information or come back with a pithy comment. Just tossing out a question without any background or extended information is practically begging for "more information please" or a wiseass comment. If I may, the following paragraph would have given us all a much clearer understanding of your question and need: "Hi. I just took over this network from someone else.
