We wish to use Ed's server move method to replace the current hardware that
our exchange server is sitting. We also wish to move all user out of there
current containers and set them in the root of the exchange server and use
address book views for our GAL(ie the right way) Within Ed's server move
method I can use the server to server move and not lose single instance
store (according to Microsoft Q white papers) with all email on the old
server and retain my 33.2gig database on the new server. As soon as I use
Bind view or exmerge to get all the mailboxes out of there containers and
into the root I lose single instance store and have a 50gig database on the
new server. Does anyone know how to move mailboxes out of their containers
and into the root without having to use a .pst and losing single instance
storage?
